¡¡¡¡ In 2002, the Kite Museum made
an investment of more than five million yuan in the
cinepanoramic, a new form of modern film which emerged
in 1990s. Our cinepanoramic cinema is an annular cinema
which is commonly used internationally, with a round
audience hall from ground to the ceiling as the central
part and two rows of annular projector rooms. While
operating, nine cine-projectors, which are all specially
made as well as the cine-films, run simultaneously.
What makes the cinepanoramic cinema, which can hold
two hundred people, different from the ordinary cinemas
in another way is that the audience stand instead of
sitting and they feel personally on the scenes while
watching the film. A specially made film called¡¶Weifang,
Kite Capital of the World¡·, which is a vivid collection
of the appearance and the scenic spots of the city,
is being shown in our cinepanoramic cinema.
